McCann Electric is an owner-operated electrical contractor based in Des Moines, Iowa. Owner Nicholas McCann has spent more than three decades in the trade, and the company has served metro homeowners and businesses under its own name since 2020.

We are not a franchise with a call center. When you call, you are talking to the people who will actually be at your house.

How we work

• Straight answers. We will tell you what needs to be done now, what can wait, and what does not need doing at all.
• Done to code. Permits pulled where they are required, inspections passed, work labeled and documented.
• Clean job sites. We treat your house like someone lives in it, because someone does.
• Backed by a workmanship warranty. If something we installed is not right, we come back.
